We had a fabulous stay, Ridge House was amazing and we couldn't have asked for more. Views were stunning and great location near Cautley Spout. Will definitely be staying here again.

The cottage is absolutely stunning. In a beautiful, peaceful location, it has been decorated and furnished to an extremely high standard. The hosts were very helpful and quick to answer our queries. We didn’t want to leave and hope we can come back again in future. 10/10, highly recommended.

Super place in just the best location. If you're planning on escaping from everything and heading for the hills Ridge House is perfect. Beautifully decorated, super cosy, well equipped - we couldn't fault it and didn't really want to leave. Mary & Jonny have done a beautiful job. It's perfect!

Mary and Jonny were amazing hosts! They were super helpful and went above and beyond! The house itself is just an interior dream! Super cosy, warm and homely. Beautiful views in every direction! Although a little out of Sedbergh, lots of walks across the way and not far from Kendal! Easy access to Windermere and other locations. We have two little ones and were able to find lots to do daily (especially in the garden). We had food twice in Ravenstonedale at the Kings Head which is a 10/15min drive (well worth it). Thank you so much for everything! We will be back!

The house is in beautiful, peaceful location. There are amazing views of the hills from every window. A lot of thought has gone into the design of the house and decor. The furnishings and fittings are of a high standard. There is a lovely dining kitchen and outdoor seating area and garden that the kids enjoyed, also very cosy with the woodburner. There are many great walks including to Cautley waterfall but also a short drive into Sedbergh for shops, pubs etc. It's much quieter than the Lake District. Hosts were great and a lovely welcome pack was provided too.
