Sat nav brings to you the hamlet of Cautley but our postcode is shared with a number of our neighbours so please read the directions.

From the South (via Sedbergh)

Cautley is 3 miles out of Sedbergh along the A683 heading North. You’ll come down a hill and see St Mark’s Church (blue/yellow sign) on your right, then a bungalow, then a timber-framed open carport. This is us! Feel free to park in the carport or drive up the steep track and park at the top.

From the North (via Tebay or Kirkby Stephen)

When coming from the North you’ll pass a pub called the Cross Keys on your right. We are about 1.5 miles after this. Look out for two black sheds with flat roofs on your left (Jonny’s workshop) and our open timber-framed carport just beyond. The steep track is us! But we recommend driving past this and carrying on to St Mark’s church (on your left, yellow sign) which has a lay-by opposite. You can turn around here and approach Ridge House from the South to avoid having to do a sharp turn up our drive. You can park in the carport or drive up our track and park at the top (there is space to turn around).

A rural roadside scene with a small wooden shelter and a winding driveway leading up to a stone house surrounded by green trees and bushes under a partly cloudy sky.
