Nestled in the Howgill Fells, with stunning views in every direction, you can hike from the door, then retreat to the fireside and curl up with a book. With the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District within easy reach, you are spoilt for choice for days out. But if you want to stay put all week you have a couple of acres of garden and woodland to explore, wild swims on the doorstep and a cosy log burner to dry out in front of.
